Cochran, GA - The Knights were back in action on Wednesday, December 4th as they were set to take on the Running Eagles of Life University. The Knights were looking to end the first half of the season on a positive note with a win before the holiday break.

The Knights would make the first basket of the game as they would take the early lead and they would hold a six point lead with 1:44 remaining in the quarter before the Running Eagles would cut the lead to two points at the end of the first quarter. The Knights would continue to lead in the second quarter but the Running Eagles would take the lead with 5:40 remaining. The Knights would trail the rest of the quarter but would keep the game within reach as the deficit would be 25-21 at the halftime break. The Knights deficit would grow in the third quarter as the Running Eagles would increase their lead to 12 points with 2:23 remaining in the third quarter but the Knights would end the quarter on a 7-0 run to cut the lead down to 39-34. The Knights would remain down in the fourth quarter as the lead would grow to eight points. The Knights would make a strong attempt to come back late in the fourth quarter as they would cut the lead to 46-45 with 1:59 remaining in the game. Neither team would manage to score in the remaining time as the Knights would lose 46-45. Vanessa Samuel led the Knights with 12 points and India Johnson added 10 points.

The Knights will have a long break as their next game will be played on Saturday, January 4th at home against the Barons of Brewton-Parker College with tip off scheduled for 12 PM EST.
