Waleska, GA - The Knights were back on the court on Saturday, February 17th as they traveled to Waleska, Georgia to take on the 3rd-ranked Gold Rush of Xavier University. The Knights were looking for their first win of the season after losing two close matches against NCAA D-II opponents. The Knights would start off the match by winning the #3 doubles match but would lose the #1 doubles match as the point would come down to the #2 doubles match. The Knights come through with the win as they would take 1-0 lead in the overall match. The Knights would stay on a hot streak as they would win the first two singles points with wins in the #5 match and #3 match as they would take a 3-0 lead in the overall match. The Gold Rush would storm back, winning points in the #2, #1, and #4 singles matches as they overall match would come down to the #6 singles match. The Knights would get the win and take the overall match.
