MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Summer Lawrence of Middle Georgia State was named SSAC Softball Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.
 
The award was based on performance for the week of Feb. 19-25.

• This is her second-career weekly honor
• In a 3-1 SSAC week, Lawrence hit .533 and slugged 1.000, while totaling eight hits, two homers and 10 RBIs
• She reached safely and drove in multiple runs in every game
