Cochran, GA - The Knights were at home on Friday, April 19th as they hosted the 11th-ranked Eagles of Faulkner University in the final home series of the season. The Knights were coming off of an upset win over the 8th-ranked Eagles of Reinhardt University and were looking to do the same on Friday.

The Knights would fall behind in the second inning after the Eagles would score two runs but a Yariel Diaz solo home run in the third inning would cut the lead in half. The Eagles would add a run in the fourth inning but the Knights would answer back in the bottom half of the inning with three runs on RBI singles by JT Rice and Brennon Williams and a bases loaded walk by Yadiel Perez as the Knights would take a 4-3 lead. The Eagles would score a run in the top of the fifth inning to tie the game back up at 4-4 but the Knights would regain the lead in the bottom of the sixth inning after a wild pitch on a strikeout would allow a run to score and the Knights would hold a 5-4 lead. The Eagles would score one run in both the eighth and ninth innings as the Knights would have no answer and would lose the game 6-5.

The Knights will be back in action on Saturday, April 20th as they finish off the series with a doubleheader against the Eagles. First pitch is scheduled for 1 PM EST.
