West Point, GA - The Knights were in West Point, Georgia on Wednesday, September 18th as they opened their conference schedule against the Skyhawks of Point University. The Knights went into the match on a four game unbeaten streak.

The match would not get started the way the Knights wanted as the Skyhawks would score a goal 1:02 into the match and the Knights would have to play from behind early on. The Knights would have three shots in the first half but none would find the net and the Knights would be down 1-0 at halftime. The Knights would have more opportunities in the second half as they would play more on the offensive side of the ball. The shots would continue to miss the net until the 76th minute when Sho Mineji would put one in the goal after an assist from Andres Alvarez and two deflections off of Skyhawks defenders to tie the game at 1-1. The Knights would have another shot in the 85th minute from Moos Zwerts that would hit the post and the match would end in a 1-1 draw. The match would turn out to be even on the stat sheet as well with the Knights holding a slight advantage in shots at 10-9.

The Knights will be back on the road on Saturday, September 21st as they travel to Montgomery, Alabama to take on the Eagles of Faulkner University. That match is set to kick off at 8 PM CST.
