West Point, GA - The Knights were on the road again on Wednesday, September 18th as they traveled to West Point, Georgia to take on the Skyhawks of Point University. The Knights were kicking off their conference schedule and were looking to get the first conference win of the season.

The match would start off with the Skyhawks on the attack as the Knights would not get off their first shot until the 15th minute. The Knights would take the game over at that point as the Knights would have all of the offense for the rest of the first half. The Knights would be unable to put any of their six shots in the back of the net though as the match would remain tied at 0-0 at halftime. Play would pick up the second half as the Knights would fire off numerous shots. The Knights would get on the board in the 62nd minute as Eliza Telford would score and put the Knights up 1-0. The Knights would continue to fire on offense as they score the second goal of the match in the 78th minute with a goal by Madison Giron that was assisted by Rimma Musabeh. The Knights would keep the Skyhawks off the scoreboard and win the match 2-0. The Knights outshot the Skyhawks 21-7.

The Knights pick up their first conference win of the season as they will continue their conference road trip with a match against Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama on Saturday, September 21st. That match is set to kick off at 5:30 PM CST.
