Cochran, GA - The Knights were at home for the first time this season as they looked to avenge their loss from Friday. The Knights hosted the Battlin' Bears of Rocky Mountain College who were playing their third match in four days.
The two teams would appear evenly matched early in the match as both teams would fire off a shot within the first ten minutes but a goal in the 14th minute would put the Knights behind early on. The Knights would have a number of chances but would be unable to convert as they would trail 1-0 at halftime. The Knights would continue to try and find the back of the net but their shots would be either off target or saved by the keeper. Rocky Mountain would extend their lead with goals in the 73rd and 76th minutes but the Knights would break through in the 87th minute with a goal from
Aroa Pena as they would cut the lead to 3-1. Rocky Mountain would score one more goal in the 89th minute to put the match away as the Knights would lose 4-1.
The Knights will take a couple of days to recuperate before they travel to Valdosta, Georgia on Thursday, September 5th when they take on the Blazers of Valdosta State University. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 PM EST.
