Hattiesburg, MS - The Knights were back on the road for their final conference weekend road trip as they traveled to Hattiesburg, Mississippi to take on the Crusaders of William Carey University. The Knights and Crusaders have played in some close matches in recent years and the Knights were looking to finally break through for the win.

The Knights would have a chance to go up early with a shot in the 2nd minute but the shot would be blocked by the Crusaders defense. The Crusaders would put themselves on the scoreboard in the 7th minute and would add on in the 27th minute as the Knights would fall behind 2-0. The Knights would have two more shots in the first half but neither would find the back of the net and the Knights would trail 2-0 at halftime. The Knights would have a couple more opportunities in the second half but the Crusaders would show why they were the 3rd ranked team as the Knights would be kept off the score board and the Crusaders would score two more goals in the second half and the Knights would fall 4-0.

The Knights will finish off the road trip on Saturday, September 28th as they take on the Rams of the University of Mobile. Kickoff is set for 1:30 PM CST.
