Mobile, AL - The Knights were back on the field on Saturday, September 28th as they were on the road in Mobile, Alabama to take on the Rams of the University of Mobile. The Knights were coming off of a tough loss to William Carey and were looking to bounce back with another conference win.
The Rams would take an early lead with a goal in the fifth minute with the Knights having only three shots in the first half as none would find the back of the net and the Knights would trail 1-0 at halftime. The Knights would quickly tie the game at 1-1 in the 48th minute with a goal from
Annaliese Agler. The Rams would score two quick goals in the 67th and 69th minutes to put the Knights down 3-1 but the Knights would get a goal in the 85th minute on a penalty kick from
Hanna Lemoine to draw within one goal. The Knights would not be able to get the equalizer and they would lose the match 3-2.
The Knights will be back at home for their next match on Wednesday, October 2nd as they host the Running Eagles of Life University. Kick off is set for 5:30 PM EST.
