Cochran, GA - The Knights were back on the court on Tuesday, January 14th as they hosted the Eagles of Faulkner University for another conference matchup. The Knights previously played the Eagles in the season in a road non-conference game with the Eagles coming out on top.

The first quarter was a good sign for the Knights as the quarter was highly contested with the Knights holding the lead for much of the quarter. The Eagles would take the lead late but the score would be 18-17 at the end of the quarter. The Knights had a difficult time in the second quarter as the Eagles would start to slowly pull away but the Knights closed the gap down to two points. The Eagles scored the final six points in the quarter and the Knights trailed 37-29 at halftime. The lead grew to ten points at the start of the third quarter but the Knights would cut the deficit down to four points. The Knights had a tough time for the remainder of the quarter as the lead would grow back out to double digits and they would trail 59-49 at the end of the third quarter. The Knights fought hard and cut the lead down to five points but would score two points in the final 7:42 of the game and they would lose the game 75-58. ZaKyria Johnson led the Knights with 21 points on 7-of-16 shooting, 4-of-11 from beyond the arc and Lailah Heard added 10 points.

The Knights will be back in aciton on Thursday, January 16th as they travel to Mobile, Alabama to take on the Rams of the University of Mobile. That game is scheduled to tip-off at 5:30 PM CST.
