Tom Bates has announced the Knights women's tennis schedule for the upcoming 2025 season. After a historic season that saw the Knights take both the SSAC regular season and tournament titles, the Knights look to repeat and advance to the NAIA National Tournament yet again. The team's schedule features top competition throughout the campaign with numerous ranked opponents on the schedule.
The Knights will start off the season on January 26
th on the road in Montgomery, Alabama when they face the Warhawks of NCAA D-II Auburn-Montgomery. They will then travel to Kansas City, Missouri to take part in the ITA Indoor Nationals. The tournament takes place from January 31
st through February 2
nd with eight of the top teams in the NAIA taking part. The Knights are the six-seed and will face the third-seed Gold Rush of Xavier University. The road trip will continue with the Knights going to Mobile, Alabama from February 6
th through the 8
th where they will face two top-15 teams in Milligan University, #6 Tennessee Wesleyan, and #14 St. Thomas University. The Knights will finish off the road trip on February 15
th with a match against #20 Reinhardt University in Waleska, Georgia and February 16
th in Dalton, Georgia against UT-Southern.
The Knights will open their home schedule on February 20
th when they host two NCAA D-II teams in the Hurricanes of Georgia Southwestern and the Golden Rams of Albany State University. The Knights will continue their homestand with three days of matches from February 28
th through March 2
nd against the Mariners of Coastal Georgia, the Phoenix of Cumberland University, and the Bees of SCAD-Atlanta. The Knights will face the Fillies of Abraham Baldwin on March 7
th and the Spartans of NCAA D-II University of Tampa on March 10
th to finish off the string of home matches.
The Knights will then head to Montgomery, Alabama for the first of two SSAC Roundups when they face the Rams of the University of Mobile on March 14
th and the Toppers of Blue Mountain Christian University on March 15
th. The Knights will then head to Lakeland, Florida where they will face the 7
th-ranked Fire of Southeastern University and finish up their trip on March 26
th when they face NCAA D-II Augusta University.
The second SSAC Roundup will take place in Montgomery, Alabama where the Knights will face the 12
th-ranked Crusaders of William Carey University on March 28
th and the 9
th-ranked Wolfpack of Loyola University on March 29
th. The regular season will finish up with a road match against the top ranked Grizzlies of Georgia Gwinnett College.
The Knights head back to Mobile, Alabama on April 16
th with the SSAC Conference Tournament as they look to defend their title with the NAIA National Tournament starting on May 10
th.
