Pulaski, TN - The Knights were on the road on Thursday, January 30th as they traveled to Pulaski, Tennessee to take on the Firehawks of UT-Southern. The Knights were in need of a win and looked to do it in a tough environment.
The Firehawks scored the first seven points of the game and the Knights fell behind early. The Knights shots were not falling early as they scored seven points in the first quarter. The deficit continued to grow in the second quarter with the Knights facing a 62-23 margin. The margin grew to 45 points in the third quarter before the Knights cut the lead to 83-43 at the end of the third quarter. The Knights started to make their way back into the game but ran out of time as they lost 91-64.
Keiane' Rollins led the Knights with 14 points off of the bench with
Laila Lowery adding 11 points.
The Knights will remain on the road for their next game as they take on the Toppers of Blue Mountain Christian University on Saturday, February 1st. Tip-off is scheduled for 12 PM CST.
