COCHRAN, Ga. - The Knights were back on their home pitch on Saturday as they hosted the Saints of Flagler College. The Knights previously played the Saints on the road, losing 1-0, and were looking to turn the result around for a win.

The Knights and Saints played each other equally at the start of the first half as both teams held possession and fired off shots. The Saints started to control the ball more around the 25th minute and scored their first goal of the match in the 27th minute. The Knights answered back in the 31st minute with a long goal from Adrian Molitor to tie the match at 1-1. The tie held until halftime and the Saints came out of the break ready to go as they scored in the 47th minute. The Knights had another opportunity in the 64th minute as Rahjae Nelson scored with an assist from Sean McCrudden. The Saints started to dominate time of possession down the stretch as they scored goals in the 75th and 86th minutes to take a 4-2 lead and the Knights lost the match. Gracen Vangilder made seven saves in goal for the Knights.

The Knights will be back in action on Wednesday, October 22nd as they face the Bearcats of Lander University. Kick off is scheduled for 7 PM EST.
