GREENWOOD, S.C. - The Knights were back on the court on Saturday as they remained in Greenwood, South Carolina to face the Bearcats of Lander University in the series finale. The Knights lost Friday night after winning a set against the Bearcats and were hoping to have more success.

The Bearcats won eight of the first nine points of the first set as the Knights came out cold. The Bearcats had multiple runs in the set as the Knights lost 25-9. The Knights dropped the first four points of the second set but fought back to get within three points. A seven point run for the Bearcats sealed the second set as the Knights lost 25-14. The Knights came out for the third set by winning the first three points of the set. The Bearcats stormed back to take a 7-4 lead but the Knights kept them close. The Knights were within two points of the Bearcats until two three point runs and a four point run ended the match with the Knights losing the set 25-15. McCall Wolf led the Knights with seven kills, Ellie Johnson had 10 assists, and Paige Collier had 10 digs.

The Knights will be back in action on Thursday, October 23rd as they host the Jaguars of Augusta University. Tip off is scheduled for 6 PM EST.
