Hattiesburg, MS - The Knights were back on the field on Saturday, February 22nd as they finished up their conference series with the Crusaders of William Carey University. The Knights suffered two walkoff losses on Friday and were looking to avoid the sweep.
The game was quiet on both sides until the fifth inning when the Knights grabbed the 1-0 lead on a solo home run by
Tate Abbott. The Knights looked to be in a good position heading into the later innings but a nine run sixth inning for the Crusaders put the Knights out of the game. The Knights got a run back in the seventh inning with a hit by pitch while the bases were loaded. The Crusaders got the run back in the bottom half of the inning and a two-run double walked the game off as the Knights lost 12-2.
