Lawrenceville, GA - The Knights were on the road on Friday, March 14th as they headed to Lawrenceville, Georgia to take on the Grizzlies of Georgia Gwinnett College. The Knights and Grizzlies have a long standing rivalry that has produced some great games and Friday looked to add to that rivalry.

The Knights had an opportunity to break through in the second inning after getting runners to second and third with one out but two straight outs ended the threat with no score. The Grizzlies scored two runs in the third inning and five runs in the sixth inning to put the Knights down 7-0. A single by Jose Vargas and double by Chaz Salter to lead off the eighth inning gave the Knights another chance at a big inning. The Knights got an RBI single from Michael Flaherty to score one run but it would be all the Knights could muster as they went on to lose 7-1.

The Knights will be back in action on Saturday, March 15th as they host the Grizzlies. First pitch will be at 2 PM EST.
