SAINT PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Knights hit the road for the first time this season as they headed to St. Petersburg, Florida to take on the Tritons of Eckerd College on Thursday. The Knights defeated Brewton-Parker at home to open the season and were looking to add another win to the schedule.

The Knights had few opportunities in the first half as the Tritons controlled the ball with the Knights only got off two shots. The Tritons had more shots but were unable to find the back of the net as the match was tied 0-0 going into the halftime break. The Knights created more chances in the second half but the Tritons kept them off the scoreboard but the Knights defense stayed on their game as the Tritons were also unable to score and the match ended in a 0-0 draw. The Knights were outshot 17-7 with a 3-2 deficit in shots on goal.

The Knights will stay in Florida for their next match on Saturday, September 13th as they take on the Royals of Warner University. Kick off is scheduled for 2 PM EST.
