Box Score GREENWOOD, S.C. – The Knights were on the road on Saturday as they traveled to Greenwood, South Carolina to take on the Bearcats of Lander University. The Knights were coming off of a loss to open conference play and looking to get their first Peach Belt win.
 
After the Bearcats fired off the first shots of the match in the first few minutes, the Knights were able to get off some shots of their own from Adrian Molitor but none found the back of the net. The Bearcats drew a penalty in the 15^th minute and capitalized to make the match 1-0 in favor of the Bearcats. The Bearcats continued their aggressive play as they scored a second goal in the 21^st minute and extended their lead with a goal in the 26^th minute. The Knights were able to find a few more chances late in the first half but none were successful as the Knights trailed 3-0 at halftime. The second half was slow going to start with the first shot not coming until the 61^st minute. Shots by both teams failed to find the net until the 81^st minute when the Bearcats added to their lead. The Bearcats scored again two minutes later to cap off the scoring and the Knights lost the match 5-0. The Knights were outshot 20-8, 10-5 in shots on goal.
 
The Knights will be back in action on Wednesday, September 24^th when they host the Lakers of Clayton State University. Kick off is scheduled for 7 PM EST.
