SAINT AUGUSTINE, Fla. - The Knights were on the road on Saturday as they headed to St. Augustine, Florida to take on the Saints of Flagler College. The Knights were coming off of a draw against Clayton State to earn their first Peach Belt point and were looking to carry that momentum to a possible win.

The Knights were on the defensive from the start of the match as the Saints pushed to score first. The Knights got their lone shot of the first half in the tenth minute but the shot missed high and right. The defense held up as the Saints were unable to score in the half and the match went into the halftime break tied 0-0.

The Knights had more offensive chances in the second half with both teams firing shots, trying to get out in front of the other team. The Saints were the team that broke through in the 79th minute as the Knights trailed 1-0. The Knights were unable to have any shots in the final minutes as they lost the match 1-0.

The Knights were outshot 13-5, 6-2 in shots on goal with CJ Wyborn keeping the Knights in the match with five saves.

The Knights will be back in action on Wednesday, October 1st as they travel to Rome, Georgia to take on the Hawks of Shorter University(0-6). Kick off is scheduled for 7 PM EST.
