COCHRAN, Ga. – The Knights were back on their home court on Wednesday, February 11
th for the first time in two weeks as they hosted the Lakers of Clayton State University. The Knights and Lakers both came into the game having lost their last seven games.
Game Recap
The Knights jumped out to an early lead thanks to some missed shots by the Lakers and quickly built a six point lead. The Lakers were able to start making their shots and tied the game at 17-17 with 10:28 left in the first half. The Knights went on a scoring drought and the Lakers pulled ahead by nine points. The Knights fought to get back in the game and they were able to tie the game late in the half before the Lakers made a layup before halftime and the Knights trailed 36-34.
The Knights came out of the break and grabbed the lead early as they went up by seven points early in the second half. The Lakers closed the gap down to three points but the Knights got on another run and went up by 10 points with 9:37 remaining in the game. The Lakers got within seven points again but the Knights held on to the lead and went on to win 70-59.
Notable Performances
OT Delancy led the Knights with 18 points as
Joshua Robertson added on 15 points.
Milique Smith had 11 points and 14 rebounds for his third double-double of the season.

The Knights will head back out on the road on Saturday, February 14
th as they head to Dahlonega, Georgia to take on the Nighthawks of North Georgia. Tip off is scheduled for 1:30 PM EST.
