COCHRAN, Ga. – The Knights were back on their home court on Wednesday, February 11
th for the first time in two weeks as they hosted the Lakers of Clayton State University. The Knights were looking to bounce back after having lost their previous game while the Lakers lost their previous game against Columbus State.
Game Recap
The Knights got off to a hot start as they were hitting their shots early in the first quarter. The Knights quickly jumped out to a 14-4 lead and continued to add on to their lead as they ended the quarter up 30-18. The second quarter slowed down for the Knights as they went on a five-minute scoring drought in the middle of the quarter but the Lakers had trouble hitting their shots as well with the Knights holding a 40-29 lead at halftime.
The third quarter was a defensive battle as the Knights hit two three pointers to go up by 17 and each team scored two points the rest of the quarter. The Knights went up by 20 points in the fourth quarter with it reaching as much as 24 points and the Knights won the game 66-46.

Kristen Foglia led the Knights with 16 points off of the bench as
Mauryah Jones had 15 points and
Ellie Southards added 12 points.

The Knights will head back out on the road on Saturday, February 14
th as they head to Dahlonega, Georgia to take on the Nighthawks of North Georgia. Tip off is scheduled for 1:30 PM EST.
