DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The Knights headed up to Dahlonega, Georgia on Saturday, February 14th to take on the Nighthawks of North Georgia. The Knights were coming off of a win against Clayton State on Wednesday while the Nighthawks lost their last game against Georgia Southwestern.
Game Recap
The Knights got down early but kept the Nighthawks within reach as they only trailed by as much as three points. The Knights got on a run late in the first quarter as they scored the final six points of the quarter to take an 18-11 lead. The Nighthawks offense got hot in the second quarter as the Knights offense went cold and they were outscored 25-8 in the second quarter to trail 36-26 at halftime.
The Knights cut the lead down to 10 points early in the third quarter but the Nighthawks continued to make their shots and pull away as the Knights trailed by 22 points at the end of the third quarter. The Knights had to make an improbable comeback to get back into the game but they were unable to do so as they lost the game 69-52.

Milanni Abdus-Salaam led the team with each scoring 12 points.
What's Up Next
The Knights will get the whole week to rest up for their next game as they headed to Augusta, Georgia to take on the Jaguars of Augusta University. Tip off is scheduled for 1:30 PM EST.
