AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Knights were on the road for the final time this regular season on Saturday, February 21st as they headed to Augusta, Georgia to take on the Jaguars of Augusta University. The Knights lost their previous game against North Georgia while the Jaguars were winners of their previous two games.

Game Recap

The Knights fell behind early as the Jaguars slowly pulled away to an eight point lead. The Knights worked their way back and tied the game at 16-16 with 12:11 remaining the first half. The game remained close until late in the half when the Jaguars went on a run and grabbed a 13 point lead. The Knights fought back and trailed 42-34 at the halftime break.

The Knights closed the gap down to five points early in the second half but the Jaguars picked up the pace and pulled away with the Knights losing 91-71.

Notable Performances

Krishen Atwal led the Knights with 20 points off of the bench as OT Delancy had 13 points and Trevon Ragland added 10 points.

The Knights will return home on Wednesday, February 25th as they take on the Cougars of Columbus State University. Tip off is scheduled for 7:30 PM EST.
