SAINT AUGUSTINE, Fla. - The Knights were back on the court on Wednesday, February 4th as they headed down to Saint Augustine, Florida to take on the Saints of Flagler College. The Knights had lost their previous four games while the Saints were on a four game winning streak. The Knights defeated the Saints at home earlier in the season and were in need of another win.
Game Recap
The first half was a game of back-and-forth early on with each team holding the lead. The Knights started to separate themselves from the Saints midway through the first half as they held an eight point lead with 4:53 remaining in the half. The Saints used a six point lead to cut the lead down to two points and the Knights held a 23-21 lead at halftime.
The Knights got back on pace coming out of the locker room as they surged ahead to hold a nine point lead with 16:23 remaining in the game. The Saints slowly chipped away as the Knights lead vanished and the game was tied at 42-42. The game remained close down the stretch as the Knights kept the Saints within reach and the game was tied at 56-56 with two minutes remaining. The Saints hit their shots down the stretch and the Knights fell behind and lost the game 68-58.
Notable Performances
Krishen Atwal led the Knights with 15 points, shooting 4-for-7 from beyond the three-point line, while
Joshua Robertson added on 11 points and
Milique Smith grabbed 15 rebounds.

The Knights will remain on the road for their next game on Saturday, February 7th as they take on the Sand Sharks of USC-Beaufort. Tip off is scheduled for 3:30 PM EST.
