COCHRAN, Ga. - The Knights were back on the field on Saturday, March 7th as they played the second game of their series against the Bobcats of Georgia College. The Knights won the first game of the series and were looking to clinch the series with another win on Saturday.

Game Recap

The game started off fast as both teams were set down quickly through the first two innings. The Bobcats got their offense rolling in the third inning with four runs and plated three more runs in the fourth inning to put the Knights behind 7-0. The Knights got two runs back in the bottom half of the inning on a two-run single by Seve Fernandez as they closed the gap to 7-2. The Bobcats inched closer to the mercy rule with one run in the sixth and seventh innings and two runs in the eighth inning. After the Bobcats scored another run in the ninth inning, the Knights got three runs in the bottom half of the inning on a Reco Coney three-run home run but the Knights were unable to score any more runs as they lost 12-5.

The Knights wrap up the series with the Bobcats on Sunday, March 8th as they try to lock up their first Peach Belt series win. First pitch is scheduled for 1 PM EST.
