HARDEEVILLE, S.C. - The Knights got back on the road on Saturday, April 11th as they headed to Hardeeville, South Carolina to take on the Sand Sharks of USC-Beaufort. The Knights and Sand Sharks were both battling for one of the final spots in the Peach Belt Conference standings to get into the PBC Softball Tournament.
Game One

The Sand Sharks got on the board in the second inning with two runs and scored another run in the fourth inning as the Knights faced a 3-0 deficit. The Knights got one run back in the fifth inning on a sacrifice fly by
Mel Bullock but the Sand Sharks got the run back in the sixth inning. The Knights offense was unable to produce any runs in the seventh inning as the Knights lost 4-1.

The Sand Sharks got another early lead in the second game of the day as they scored three runs in the first inning. The Knights got one run back in the second inning on a wild pitch to pull within two runs of the lead. The Knights got a rally going in the fifth inning as they were able to get an RBI single from
Caroline Albritton and a sacrifice fly from
Kaylee Oliver as they tied the game at 3-3. The Sand Sharks got the lead back in the sixth inning after scoring on an error and the Knights were unable to score in the seventh inning as they lost 4-3.
