COCHRAN, Ga. - The Knights returned home on Friday, April 17th as they hosted the Hurricanes of Georgia Southwestern in their final home series of the season. The Knights were looking to get back in the win column after losing to Shorter University on Tuesday while the Hurricanes had lost their last two games.

The game started off poorly for the Knights as the Hurricanes dropped eight runs in the first inning. They added another run in the second inning but the Knights got two runs back in the bottom half of the inning on a sacrifice fly from
Garrett Frost and scored the second run on an error. The Hurricanes put four more runs up in the third inning and the Knights fought back as they scored three runs in the bottom half of the inning with a two-run double from Frost and an RBI single from
Seve Fernandez. The bats went quiet for the Knights as the Hurricanes scored two runs in the sixth inning and four runs in the seventh inning and the Knights lost the game 19-5
