COCHRAN, Ga. - The Knights were back in action on Saturday, April 18th as they played the second game of their PBC series against the Hurricanes of Georgia Southwestern. The Knights celebrated Senior Day and looked to cap off their celebrations with a win.
Game Recap
The game started off much quicker than the previous game as neither team scored in the first two innings. The Hurricanes got on the scoreboard in the third inning with two runs but the Knights had an answer in the bottom half of the inning. An RBI double by
Teonis Pimentel cut the lead to one and a two-run single by
Sebastian Collender gave the Knights a 3-2 lead. The Hurricanes tied the game back up at 3-3 in the fourth inning and the Knights took the lead back in the fifth inning after scoring on a wild pitch. The Hurricanes scored two runs in the sixth inning to take the lead back but
Teonis Pimentel hit a solo home run in the seventh inning to tie the game up at 5-5. The game came down to the ninth inning when the Hurricanes scored one run in the top half of the inning and the Knights went down in order in the bottom half of the inning as they lost the game 6-5.

Christian Dillard went 3-for-4 at the plate while
Mikal Ashley and Teonis PImentel each had two hits.

The Knights will close out the home schedule on Sunday, April 19th as they wrap up their series with the Hurricanes. First pitch is scheduled for 1 PM EST.
