SAINT AUGUSTINE, Fla. - The Knights were back on the road on Saturday, September 12th as they faced the Saints of Flagler College to open their Peach Belt Conference schedule. The Knights were looking to carry over the momentum from their previous match to get another win.
The Saints controlled the match throughout the first half as the Knights were unable to get off a shot. The Saints scored goals in the 12th and 44th minutes to hold a 2-0 margin at halftime. The Saints added another goal in the 53rd minute and the Knights finally started to see some offense as they fired off some shots. None of the shots found the back of the net as the Knights lost the match 3-0.
Hollie Keefe made eight saves in the match.
The loss puts the Knights record at 2-5, 0-1 PBC as they return home for their next match on Wednesday, September 16th against the Cougars of Columbus State University. Kick off is scheduled for 5:30 PM EST.
