MACON, Ga. - The Knights were back on the court on Tuesday, September 15
th as they opened their home schedule against the Blazers of Valdosta State University. The Knights were coming off a 2-1 record at the Warhawk Invitational and looked to keep the momentum rolling heading into Tuesday's match.
After losing the first seven points of the first set, the Knights closed to within six points but the deficit was too great for them to overcome as they lost 25-11. The Knights dropped the first three points of the second set and fell behind again. A late five-point run closed the lead down to four points but they lost the set 25-19. Another slow start to the third set saw the Knights fall behind 9-1 as they were able to get within three points but went on to lose the set 25-16.

Paisley Ferguson each had nine kills to lead the team while
Aubrie Beard recorded 14 assists.
The Knights record moves to 2-10 as they head into Peach Belt Conference play with a matchup against Augusta University on Thursday, September 17
th. Tip off is scheduled for 6 PM EST.
