Box Score Jackson, TN – The Knights were back in action on Thursday, May 2^nd as they were set to take on the 2-seed Crusaders of William Carey University in the SSAC Tournament. The Knights defeated the Skyhawks of Point University the previous day and were looking to stay undefeated in pool play.
 
After shutting down the Crusaders in the top half of the first inning, the Knights would put up three runs in the bottom of the first inning on an RBI single by Zane Faulk, a wild pitch that would score a run, and a sacrifice fly by JT Rice. The Knights would give up four runs in the top of the second inning but would re-take the lead in the bottom half of the inning three-run double by Ryan Wilson as they would take a 6-4 lead. The Knights would add another run in the third inning on an RBI double by Jaiden Duarte as they would extend their lead to 7-4. The Crusaders would fight back as the Knights would face a 9-7 deficit after the top half of the fourth inning but would cut into the lead in the bottom half of the inning with a solo home run from Zane Faulk. After the Crusaders scored two runs in the fifth inning, the Knights would get the runs back in the sixth inning on an RBI single by Ryan Wilson and a fielder's choice by Zane Faulk with the Knights trailing 11-10. The Crusaders would add two more runs in the seventh inning as the Knights offense would have no answer and the Knights would lose 13-10.
 
The Knights will be back in action on Friday, May 3^rd as they finish off pool play with the 7-seed Nighthawks of Thomas University. First pitch is scheduled for 4 PM CST.
