10/23/2025 11:00:00 AM

COCHRAN, Ga. – Coach Paul Knight is pleased to announce the 2026 Middle Georgia State University spring baseball schedule. The Knights retain a majority of the pitching staff from last season and have replenished the roster with a strong group of high school and collegiate transfers as they enter their first season competing in the Peach Belt Conference.

The Knights open the season with an eight game home stand that kicks off with Opening Day on January 30th with a series against Union University (Tenn.). They will remain at home for a mid-week game against Emmanuel University the following week, a weekend three-game series against Eckerd College, and finish off the homestand against Shorter University, all at Stuckey Field.

The first road trip of the season will start off Peach Belt Conference play as the Knights head to Greenwood, South Carolina to take on Lander University February 13th-15th. A mid-week game against Brewton-Parker Christian University rounds out the road trip before the Knights take on USC-Aiken on February 20th-22nd for their first home PBC series. They will take on ABAC in a mid-week game before heading to North Georgia February 27th-March 1st.

The Knights return home for a game against Albany State University and a series against Georgia College before returning a trip to Emmanuel University and come home for a series against Augusta University. The Knights will then hit the road for two weeks for a non-conference series against Embry-Riddle in Daytona Beach, Florida and Flagler College in Saint Augustine, Florida. They will stay busy on the road with mid-week matchups at ABAC and Albany State.

MGA returns home on April 2nd to start a series against Columbus State and a game against Brewton-Parker before heading to Claflin University for a PBC series on April 10th and a game against Shorter University.

The Knights last home series of the season will begin on April 17th against Georgia Southwestern before they head to Lee University on April 21st and finish off the regular season against USC-Beaufort on April 24th-26th.

The Knights will look to be in position to play in the Peach Belt Conference Tournament that begins May 1st with the 1-seed hosting the 4-seed and the 2-seed hosting the 3-seed, to be played at the sites of the higher seeds.
