COCHRAN, Ga. – Coach Scott Henderson is pleased to announce the 2025 Men's Soccer schedule. The inaugural NCAA Division II season looks to build upon the improvement of the 2024 season after the Knights logged the most wins in a single season since 2019.
The Knights will kick off the 2025 season with a preseason match at home against the Skyhawks of Point University before heading out on the road for their final two preseason matches against Thomas University and Central Georgia Tech.
The 2025 regular season kicks off at home at 8 pm on Thursday, September 4
th against the Barons of Brewton-Parker College. The Knights will then hit the road as they travel to Florida to take on Eckerd College and Warner University.
The Knights will return home on Wednesday, September 17
th to open Peach Belt Conference play as they host the Hurricanes of Georgia Southwestern at 7 pm. Conference play will continue with matches at Lander University and at home against Clayton State University before a three-match road trip at Flagler College, non-conference foe Shorter University, and USC-Aiken.
MGA returns to Nesmith Field on October 8
th with a home match against the University of North Georgia and another home date on October 11
th versus USC-Aiken. The squad then travels to nearby Georgia Southwestern and will play another two home games against Flagler College and Lander University. The Knights round out conference play with road matches against North Georgia and Clayton State before finishing off their regular season at home against Trinity Baptist College.
As provisional members of the NCAA Division II, the Knights are ineligible for NCAA postseason but are eligible for Peach Belt Conference postseason. The first round of the Peach Belt Conference Tournament begins on November 8
th with the top-4 seeds hosting at their home field.
