COCHRAN, GA - The Knights basball team opened SSAC play with a pair of wins against the Loyola Wolfpack on Friday and followed it up with a 16-6 win in 8 innings on Saturday to move to 14-3 on the season and open SSAC play at 3-0.  The Knights first four batters each had 3 hits including Zach Cornell who was 3 for 4 in the game and 10-12 in the series.  MJ Rookard was 2 for 3 with a 3-run homer and Dayton Beasley capped the game with a 3-run walkoff homer in the bottom of the 8th to invoke the run rule of 10 runs after 7 innings.  

The Knights will host Georgia Southwestern State University on Tuesday at 4PM for their next game and look to extend their 6 game winning streak before heading to Tuscaloosa, AL to face Stillman College in a 3-game series on March 8-9.
