MONTGOMERY, AL - The 10th ranked baseball team got an extension of their 3-game regular season ending series with the Martin Methodist Red Hawks in the opening round of the SSAC Tournament and got the win 8-3.  The win puts the team's record at 38-12 on the season and will face the Mobile Rams in the second round on Thursday at 4PM central, 5PM eastern.  

The Knights jumped out in front with 4 runs in the top of the 1st and Preston Sparks pitched a gem going 7.0+ innings to earn the win allowing 5 hits, 3 earned runs, 2 walks, and striking out 4.  Robbie Hanlon, Blake Jackson, MJ Rookard, and Chris Burgess each had 2 hits with Burgess hitting a 2-run homer in the 4th.
